Thanks for your interest in submitting a story to Popcorn Fiction. To continue, please follow these instructions:

  1. Stories should be between 2,000 and 8,000 words and submitted as a Microsoft Word document, in Courier font.
  2. Make sure your name, email address, and title are on the first page of the story.
  3. Download this legal agreement, complete it, and cut and paste it to the end of your story.
  4. Email your submission to popcornfiction@hbgusa.com with "Fiction Submission" in the subject line.
  5. Do not email us asking if we received the story, or if we've had a chance to read it, or when you can expect to hear back from us. If you send us a follow-up email, your story will be immediately discarded.
  6. If you do not hear back from us in the next couple of months, then your story was not right for our site.
